HEATING & FROTHING MILK

The secret to that creamy, dreamy latte? Frothy milk. And the best part — you don’t need a barista setup to make it happen.

Here are some easy ways to whip up foam at home with whatever you’ve got lying around:

  • Handheld Frother:
    Quick, compact, and seriously fun. Heat your milk first (stovetop or microwave), then froth directly in your mug or pot.

  • Milk Steamer:
    Got a coffee machine with a steam wand? You’ve basically unlocked café-level lattes at home. Steam your milk until velvety, then pour over your blend base. Bonus points if you nail latte art (but messy swirls totally count too).

  • Countertop Milk Frother:
    The set-it-and-forget-it option. Add milk, press a button, and let it work its magic. Most countertop frothers heat and froth at the same time — effortless foam, every time.

  • Stovetop:
    Old school but effective. Heat your milk gently (don’t let it boil), then whisk like you’re flipping pancakes. Not as foamy as a frother, but it makes a lovely, cosy texture.

  • Soy Milk:
    The OG of plant milks. Creamy, dependable, and always a solid match for spiced blends like turmeric. Packed with natural fats, it makes your latte extra silky — a classic for a reason.
  • Oat Milk:
    The people’s favourite. Light, velvety, and a superstar when it comes to frothing (barista oat is basically foam royalty). Oat milk plays well with every blend, which is why it’s our go-to for that smooth, balanced sip.
